Cut and sewn in Surulere.
SpicyKlothing is a small workshop in Lagos making agbada, boubou, senator sets, iro and buba, and hand-woven fila — ready-made in stock sizes, or cut to your own measurements.
One tailor per piece
A garment is not passed down a line here. One cutter takes it from the first chalk mark to the last stitch, and their name goes on the label. It is slower, and it is the reason the finishing holds up.
Cloth
Aso oke is woven for us in Iseyin. Adire is hand-dyed, so no two pieces carry the same pattern — small differences between one piece and the photograph are the point, not a fault. We also work in guinea brocade, damask, Swiss lace and cashmere wool.
Made to order
Anything marked made-to-order is cut to eleven measurements. You can send them from a tape measure, or use Measure me, which reads your proportions from a single photo on your own phone. The photo never leaves your device; only the numbers travel with the order.
Design your own
If what you want is not on the rail, draw it. Tailor Studio takes a sketch, a photograph of a drawing, or a plain description, and a cutter comes back with a price before anything is cut.
Where we ship
Lagos, the rest of Nigeria, and worldwide by courier. Details on the delivery and returns page.
